Quick tip: Use a nifty nabber to grab that urine sample
This handy tool helps out with short or skittish patients.
Grabbers like this one can be found at dollar stores, toy stores and medical stores.
To get a urine sample on a short legged dog, I like to use a “Nifty Nabber” attached to a half of a vaccine tray. This also works well for dogs who are easily spooked by the strange lady who keeps creeping up them when they try to squat.
