2009 Year in Review
A large-scale survey by the American Heartworm Society shows increases in heartworm incidence along the Eastern seaboard and Gulf Coast states. Veterinary hospitals reporting positive heartworm cases did so at increased levels when compared to a similar survey in 2004.
