Jenny Fisher, RVT, VTS: We know that chemotherapy and radiation therapy affect rapidly dividing cells the most, and the way to help remember what body systems are mostly affected by radiation and chemo is by using the word 'B.A.G.'...and the 'B' stands for bone marrow...the second is 'A' for alopecia or skin...and then the G is for the gastrointestinal tract.
