Jenny Fisher, RVT, VTS: In oncology, with certain tumor types, there are many variations between species. Cat lymphoma and dog lymphoma is a big one, but mast cell tumors' also another one. Typically, we see more low-grade, biologic behaving mast cell tumors—so those grade 1's in our kitty cats—but [the] location of mast cell tumor in kitty cats can also be prognostic and very important.
