We’re sure you’ve heard it—those two words that have become synonymous with successful veterinary visits: Fear Free. In fact, if you’re reading this, you’ve probably taken the steps to become Fear Free certified. (Oh, you haven’t? You should stop by here first). Congratulations!

The next part is to let your clients in on the new-and-improved visits. We’re sure they’ll be over the moon at the fact that you’re putting in the time and effort to make sure their pets are having the least stressful experience they can have. But first, you’ll most likely have to answer their initial question: “Fear Free? What’s that?”

Though you’ve heard it, spoken it, written it and can probably say it backward five times fast (you tried it, didn’t you?), your clients are most likely still clueless about the whole institution. No worries! We’ve created a short speech for you to quickly educate your clients. Post it on your blog or Facebook page, tape it to your reception area, shout it from the rooftops—whatever floats your boat. Change the wording to fit your practice’s style. Put it on your website, send it out in an email or send it to your local news team. Getting the word out about what Fear Free is and why it’s great will gain new clients, earn current client’s trust and let your patients breathe easy with the thought of a visit to your clinic.
