Protect the endotracheal tube (and the patients tongue) with this tip.
Ever wonder what to do with those cardboard tubes that you are left with after the self-adhesive bandaging material is used up? I use them in procedures for dogs when anesthesia and sternal recumbency positioning are required.
I use them to protect the endotracheal tube and also the patient's tongue from excessive trauma from the teeth. Once the surgery is complete, the tubes are discarded.
