I'm a consulting veterinarian who's highly involved in several disaster preparedness committees. I loved last month's free
pet ID card and have added the form to the pet preparedness information that I distribute—with an improvement. As it's important
in evacuation situations, I include the pet's current vaccination information. I also think it's best if the ID photo has
the pet with his or her owner. But by and large, I recommend all organizations add the form to their pet preparedness kits.
