Shelter hopes to demonstrate that shelter dogs are awesome.

An animal shelter in New Zealand set out to show that you can teach an old dog new tricks—they taught dogs how to drive cars. Shelter workers built a special training vehicle and eventually let dogs take the wheel behind a car. By teaching the dogs how to drive, the shelter hopes to show that there’s nothing a rescue dog can’t do. For video of dogs driving cars, click here.
