The team at Bradford Hills Veterinary Hospital is getting all the practice news that's fit to print, thanks to the BHVH Buzz, a monthly team newsletter co-authored by client services shift leader Jennifer Graham and her cat, Cleo. Graham launched the newsletter to share practice news, recognize team players, and cover important issues, such as teamwork, respect, and professionalism.

"I always try to make the feature a serious topic with a twist," Graham says. For example, the December issue features the true story of a veterinarian who takes the time to play with a client's child after an appointment. The article explores how personalized service can build intimate relationships with clients. Team members enjoy the newsletter's features, from recognizing the team's monthly MVP to highlighting team members' birthdays and spreading a little fun with a word puzzle. Graham's feline co-author pens her own column, Cleo's Corner, a cat's editorial on life as she sees it.

The best part: It serves as a morale booster and creates a connection between team members. Graham says her co-workers look forward to receiving the newsletter, and some team members even keep every issue.
