As pet health insurance gains wider acceptance among U.S. pet owners, it's more important than ever for veterinary team members to be educated on the subject. To get this accomplished, the National Commission on Veterinary Economics Issues (NCVEI) released a position paper that provides an objective overview of pet health insurance and helps the veterinary staff answer clients’ basic questions.
Based on a consulting study performed by Brakke Veterinary Practice Management Group, the 8-page guide gives a simple explanation of how pet insurance works and how it can benefit the client and the practice. It also outlines how to make insurance work for you in your practice.
