OK, folks, it's time to step up and help put a stop to animal cruelty. Recognize Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month in April
with these tips from
http://aspca.org/:
• Plan a presentation for local schools and organizations. Explain signs of animal abuse and neglect and educate others
about humane care.
• Volunteer at your local shelter. Donate your time to walk shelter dogs or plan a drive to collect money, food, and
supplies for the shelter.
• Report any signs of abuse or neglect. Does a pet have sores, cuts, bruises, or patches of missing fur? Is it extremely
thin or does it limp? Is it left outside for long periods of time without food or water? If you suspect animal cruelty, visit
http://aspca.org/ to find out where to report animal abuse or neglect in your area.
