1. Include a note to bring in a fecal sample on the appointment reminder postcard, says Julie Legred, CVT.
2. When clients call to set appointments, remind them to bring an ample sample in a baggie.
3. If pet owners don't bring a sample with them, suggest they pre-pay for the test. Then send home a collection container.
4. Still no luck? Follow up with reminder calls or e-mails, Legred says.
