But these owners must still be cognizant of the bottom line, monitoring it every now and then through meetings with the manager. If you are truly fearful of the business-related items that accompany practice ownership, consider taking management-focused continuing education courses. After all, a veterinary practice is a business, even though the primary focus is on caring for pets.
