Client handout: Puppy socialization

Article

Print it out for your new-puppy kits. Put it in your veterinary hospital's exam rooms and reception area. Put it on your website. New puppies will thank you for their better manners and less fear down the road.

We're sure you know that puppies learn and develop a big part of their adult personality by 16 weeks of age, but do your clients? If they want a happy dog that takes life in a joyous stride, the clock is ticking. The positive (or negative) associations that young dogs develop during this critical brain development can last a lifetime ... for better or worse. So let's make it better!

Help get new patients off to a great start by offering this free handout to eager new pup parents.
