In 56 percent of practices, team members begin educating clients about geriatric care when their pets are 7 to 9 years old, according to a recent survey by VetMedTeam.com. In 36 percent of practices, team members start educating owners when pets are 5 to 7 years old. Four percent of you start education at 3 to 5 years, and the last 4 percent start education when pets are older than 9 years.
