A bright idea: Dim the lights

Article

Flip the switch to signal to team members that a euthanasia is taking place in your practice.

When we have a euthanasia in the house we turn off one set of lights in the pharmacy. This alerts staff coming and going to keep their voices down, that there's a sensitive situation occurring. I like it myself because I see it immediately when I come out of my office. Our doors and walls are thin. The last thing clients want to hear when they're so upset is random personal and business chatter.
